About
Founded in 1940 as the Most Precious Blood Crusaders, the Boston Crusaders have become a leading force in DCI, pioneering the first use of double tenor drums (1967) and tympani (1968). After 85 years of competitive marching, they captured their first-ever DCI World Championship in 2025 — a landmark moment for New England drum corps and one of the great underdog stories in DCI history.
